Joint Statement of 19 Organizations and Parties of Oppressed and Occupied Nations under the Rule of the Occupying Regime of the Islamic Republic of Iran
In Support of the Nationwide Uprising and a Call for Broader and More Active Participation of the Nations
We, the representatives of the oppressed and occupied nations within the political geography under the rule of the occupying regime of the Islamic Republic of Iran, the signatories of this statement, recognizing our historic responsibility at this decisive and fateful moment, hereby declare our firm, explicit, and unconditional support for the nationwide uprising and the widespread demonstrations of the nations.
What is unfolding today in the streets and squares is not merely a protest against economic conditions or limited demands; rather, it is a conscious uprising of nations for freedom, human dignity, and the realization of the right to self-determination—a right that has for decades been systematically denied to the oppressed nations of “Iran” and replaced by repression, discrimination, territorial occupation, and the denial of national identities.
This uprising is the direct result of the repressive, centralist, and occupation-based policies of the ruling regime—a regime that has lost its political, moral, and human legitimacy and survives solely through violence and intimidation.
We, as organizations and parties representing oppressed nations, believe that the moment of historic determination has arrived. Therefore, we call upon all oppressed and occupied nations to participate more broadly, more organized, more independently, more consciously, and more unitedly in nationwide demonstrations and field actions, in order to declare their collective will to the world with one unified voice.
The objectives of this uprising are clear, fundamental, and non-negotiable:
•The complete overthrow of the occupying and authoritarian regime of the Islamic Republic of Iran;
•An end to policies of national, cultural, and linguistic discrimination;
•The full guarantee of the human, political, and national rights of the nations;
•And most importantly, the recognition of the right to self-determination of nations as a legitimate, fundamental, and irreversible principle.
We warn against any attempts to divert, hijack, or contain this uprising by opportunistic forces or projects aimed at reproducing the dominance of Persian chauvinism. We emphasize that the political future of this geography must be shaped solely on the basis of the free will of the nations and without any form of guardianship or tutelage.
In conclusion, we call upon the international community, international institutions, human rights organizations, and free media to stand alongside the oppressed nations, amplify their voices, and refrain from silence in the face of repression, killings, and systematic violations of human rights committed by the occupying regime of Iran.
Victory belongs to the united and steadfast nations.
Freedom is our inalienable right.
The right to self-determination is the shared and undeniable demand of oppressed nations.
